El Arte del Embellecimiento
(Trade Catalogue - Beauty) Tangee. El Arte del Embellecimiento [cover title]. [New York]: [George Luft], 1929. Oblong (10 cm), pp.; profusely illustrated in color; stapled self-wrappers, very good.
American pharmacist George Luft built Tangee cosmetics and its “color-changing” lipstick formula into one of the most popular brands in the US before WWII. It excelled with colorful, modern branding and testimonials from many theater and film stars of the day (here Anita Page, Sue Carol, Ann Pennington, et al.). The present pamphlet designed for the Spanish market.
Scarce, no examples of Tangee trade materials are recorded in OCLC.
