Materials primarily printed in Cairo and Damascus, a few from Madrid, Brussels, et al. Most illustrated in color, with texts in Arabic, English, French, German, and Spanish. Various sizes with orig. wrappers bound in red cloth with gilt title to spine, boards rubbed and bumped, endpapers brittle and worn. Two guides with losses or closed tears, rest good.
In addition to guides to the obvious touristic destinations, many items promoting modern life and industry in the Middle East, including a copy of Abdel Nasser’s Philosophy of the Revolution, and a 40 pp. promotional booklet for the Sadd-El-Aali dam.
